ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Teresa Alvarez, owner of TJ Alvarez Media; a Detroit based photographer specializing in pageant headshots, acting, and modeling. With a degree in Film & Journalism from University of Michigan, I've had the pleasure of photographing national pageant queens, film actors, and magazine featured models. My unique perspective is shaped by my own experience as a former professional dancer, pageant queen, and working actress; allowing me to bring artistry and industry knowledge to every session.

Beyond photography, I travel the country as an automotive product specialist and as a working actress. I am also a proud mom, balancing my career and family life. I'm dedicated to helping each client feel confident and seen. I approach every project with professionalism, creativity, and a genuine love for capturing people at their best.
